Inspired by a user privacy file provided by Spotify, this project seeks to shed light on the issue of user identity and privacy in the world of big data and advertising. Through the file, which contained hundreds of guesses about the user's identity, the artist became increasingly concerned with the invasive nature of the information collected by companies like Spotify. To express their concern and encourage reflection, the artist created a clone of Spotify using HTML, and presented the data in a "Spotify Wrapped" format. By showcasing the extent to which companies speculate about our identities, the project invites viewers to consider the fragmentation of online identities and their connection to our offline selves.
